Who suffers from sleep deficit more: males or females?
*Men seem to suffer a little more from lack of sleep than women. Women sleep a little longer but sleep much worse when they are at home.
*44% of women get 7 hours of sleep per night (men: 34%). Only 21% of women sleep 8 hours or more (men: 10%). Even more pronounced are the differences in sleep quality. 44% of women wake up at night often. For men, this is only 30%. Most women and men experience sleeping problems while traveling (58%), but 43% percent of adults do not sleep well at home either.
